Archos Announced Arnova Tablet
Archos Arnova (10-inch Tablet)
Archos has announced a new tablet from budget series Arnova.
Arnova 9 G2 has 9-inch IPS display with a diagonal of 9.7 inches and 1024×768 pixels.
The processor is a 1 Ghz ARM A8. Slightly strange decision is the operating system that isn’t Android Honeycomb but Gingerbread, which is designed for smartphones in focus.
Also official Android Market is not available, but an alternative – Appslib.
Packaging
Packaging is very similar to an Archos Gen8 box, you will find in the box:
- an Arnova 10 4 GB tablet
- a power charger with 3 power sockets (American, English and French type)
This is the classic power charger from Archos, input 100-240V, outputs 5V 2A
- 5 papers that includes ArchosLegal and Safety Notices, Arnova 10 User Guide.
- an USB cable (micro USB format).
Expected price of the Archos Arnova 9 G2 is about 250 euros.
